Community Guidelines

These guidelines explain how we keep CheckInDate respectful, authentic, and safer for everyone who uses it.

Last updated: 22 April 2026

1. Be real

Use your own identity, your own photos, and truthful profile details. People should be able to trust that the person they are speaking with is the same person shown on the profile.

Fake profiles, impersonation, misleading relationship intent, and attempts to hide your identity in order to deceive other members are not allowed.

  • Do not use someone else's photos or identifying details.
  • Do not use verification, profile text, or premium visibility tools to create a misleading impression.

2. Treat people with respect

Harassment, intimidation, shaming, threats, hate speech, or repeated unwanted contact are not permitted. Respect a clear no, a boundary, or silence.

CheckInDate is built for adult users seeking genuine connections. Users must be 18 or older, and any attempt to involve minors will result in immediate action.

  • Do not return to a user from another account after they block you.
  • Do not pressure people with repeated contact after they ask you to stop.

3. Respect consent

Do not pressure anyone into messaging, meeting, sharing personal details, or sending sexual content. Consent must be clear, voluntary, and ongoing.

Unsolicited sexual language, explicit images, coercive behavior, and manipulative attempts to make someone uncomfortable or guilty are prohibited.

  • If someone is not interested, stop pushing the interaction forward.
  • Do not use shame, guilt, or urgency to force personal disclosure or in-person plans.

4. Protect privacy and location safety

Do not attempt to uncover or expose another person's exact location, home address, workplace, or private contact details without permission.

Misusing check-in features, pretending to be present at a venue, stalking someone across venues, or using location-based features to monitor another person is not allowed.

  • Do not use nearby mode, venue presence, or check-in history to track or pressure another person.
  • Do not misuse contact privacy or profile visibility settings to work around another person's boundaries.

5. No scams, spam, or commercial misuse

Profiles that request money, promote investment schemes, push third-party services, or use the platform for spam, affiliate traffic, escorting, or unrelated selling activity may be removed.

Attempts to move users into unsafe channels, phishing flows, or suspicious off-platform interactions may be treated as fraud-related abuse.

6. Reporting, moderation, and enforcement

If you see behavior that feels unsafe or violates these rules, report it. Our team may review profile content, reports, account history, and related safety signals to make a decision.

Private messages are not routinely read by our team, but if a report or safety issue concerns a conversation, relevant message records may be reviewed as part of that investigation.

Depending on severity, we may warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently remove accounts. We may also preserve relevant records when needed for safety investigations or legal obligations.

False reporting, attempts to evade a suspension or ban, or efforts to recreate removed accounts may also lead to enforcement action.

If you need to contact us about a moderation or safety issue outside the app, you can write to [email protected].

  • The app currently supports in-product report categories for inappropriate photos, harassment, spam, scams, fake profiles, underage users, and other concerns.
  • Depending on the case, enforcement may affect the account, the device, or both.
